Adult's biological meaning means an animal that is capable of reproduction. If used in conjunction with human beings, the term "adult" could mean anything that is associated with legal or social concepts. Contrary to the term "minor" (or "non-adult" an legal adult is an individual that has reached the age of an age at which they are majority. They are thought to be competent, responsible and independent. They are also known as "majors", they can also be said to be at the age of adulthood. The age of 18 is as the age of legal maturity, but the definition of adulthood can vary by country, legal rights or mental development.

Human development is the time during which physical and mental maturation has been achieved. The age of adulthood typically begins with an age that is 21. Then, after middle age (starting about 40 years old) is the time to reach old age (around age 60). Adulthood can be divided into three distinct stages beginning with the early years of adulthood (18-mid-30s) between mid-30s and the mid-60s then late adulthood from mid-60s up to end of life. It is the time to complete physical development at the point we are in our early adulthood years (20-40s) however, your weight and height could increase slightly. As we grow older, we are at the highest level of physical abilities.
